3 John
III John is in the section of Jewish literature which includes Hebrews through Revelation. It is written by the Apostle John to a man by the name of Gaius. John will be dealing with three people in this letter: Gaius, Diotrephes, and Demetrius. 3 John 11-15»
We complete this letter with a study of the life of Demetrius. John presents Gaius and Demetrius as role models for the believer, while presenting Diotrephes as one who functions in the Body of Christ on the basis of pride. 3 John 9-10»
